Chapter 20: Building a Support Network Of Family And Loved Ones
You can should try to be a "hub", a center, for communication, for your family.  I am one.  In a way, I keep the whole family together.  My parents are divorced and the kids are all grown and live all over the country.  So naturally it is a challenge for me to keep everybody communicating, to keep everybody on the same page...you could say that i am one of the people "holding this family together".  If it weren't for my phone calls and relaying of information to one another, then they wouldn't be communicating with one another at all.  Because most of my family will talk on the phone to ME, but my sister and mother and brother don't talk to each other....and my mom and dad don't talk to one another...and my grandparents dont talk to my mother or brother.  Confusing, I know!  I have to relay messages to one another from each other and keep everybody up to date on what's new and changing in each other's lives.  In fact, if it weren't for me, my family would hardly be in touch at all!  It takes effort to be a Hub of Information and communication between a group of people, my family.  I promise myself i won't let them drift too far apart from one another...so i call them all daily or weekly to chat.  I visit my grandparents.  my sister visits me.  Never underestimate the power of a lot of phone calls over a long period of time...you'll hold together a support network of family and loved ones!  THat, my friends, is How I Personally Built And maintain A Support Network of family and friends.  Phone calls.  emails.  communication.  My treasure is in heaven.... I am a good person, and I believe in the value of family.  They all love me, even if they dont like one another....and that is everything.  A support network of family and loved ones!
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
